As a team of six, we strategized and designed the Missy Elliot Museum pop-up experience in Soho, NYC, sponsored by Pepsi and the VMAs. This interactive exhibit featured photo moments and activities correlating with Missy Elliot's iconic albums and music videos.

Pain Point
Fans wanted interactive, immersive ways to celebrate Missy Elliot’s music and cultural impact, while sponsors Pepsi and the VMAs needed a branded activation that balanced their identities and maximized engagement.
Process
Led a cross-functional team of six through concept development, design strategy, art direction, graphic design, and prototyping. Crafted a cohesive visitor journey with 10 immersive installations, ensuring alignment between Missy Elliot’s artistic vision, Pepsi’s vibrant branding, and the VMAs’ edgy aesthetic. Integrated social media and technology to enhance engagement and tested prototypes to refine the overall experience.
Outcome
The pop-up attracted thousands of visitors, generated extensive social media coverage, and received widespread praise from fans, critics, and stakeholders. The success led to an extended exhibit duration and an exclusive after party with Missy Elliot. The experience strengthened fan loyalty, elevated sponsor visibility, and provided a culturally impactful, memorable activation.
