Experience Design : Influencer Retreat

Project Overview: The June Brand Trip — “Discover: At Present”
Hosted at The Henson in New York, this 24-hour jewelry brand influencer retreat was designed to immerse attendees in At Present’s ethos of discovery, presence, and intentional living. My role was to translate this philosophy into a cohesive visual identity and set of branded touch-points, ensuring the experience felt curated, elevated, and memorable from invite to takeaway.

Execution & Expansion
- Create a cohesive theme + visual identity (“Discover: At Present”) for the retreat.
- Design digital and print collateral that extended the brand story into every touchpoint.
- Balance minimal sophistication (black/white + accent color) with moments of discovery (custom fact prompts, journaling, ingredient stories).

1. Digital Invitation
The creative foundation for The June Brand Trip began with the digital invitation — a minimal, black-and-white composition accented by a single color. This piece set the overall tone for the retreat: refined, modern, and rooted in presence. Every design decision — from the typography hierarchy to the subtle motion elements — reflected At Present’s ethos of intentional design and discovery. The invitation served as both an RSVP and a visual manifesto for the experience to come.

2. Menu Suite (Dinner, Breakfast & Drinks)
Each meal became an opportunity for storytelling. I designed a cohesive set of menus that tied into the retreat’s theme of discovery — integrating ingredient stories, process details, and subtle brand cues.
The typography and layout were designed to feel like an extension of the Field Guide — restrained, tactile, and elevated — with proportions and paper choice reinforcing the idea of thoughtful curation. Together, the menus formed a series of collectible keepsakes that embodied At Present’s dedication to materiality and craft.

3. Field Guide - 26-Pages
The centerpiece of the event collateral, the Field Guide, was designed as a hybrid between a journal, itinerary, and brand storybook. Structured to guide influencers through a 24-hour journey of reflection and discovery, each spread wove together functional content (schedule, location details) with micro-stories about ingredients, materials, and historical context.
Prompts invited guests to capture how they felt, what they learned, and what presence meant to them — transforming a simple printed guide into a deeply personal artifact. The tone, typography, and pacing mirrored the retreat itself: intentional, quiet, and immersive.

4. Branded Swag & Marketing Extensions
To expand the brand experience beyond the retreat, I designed mockups for potential brand extensions: a branded T-shirt that captured the minimalist yet thoughtful tone of At Present, and a billboard concept (first image used) that translated the retreat’s identity into a large-scale visual statement. These pieces demonstrated how the event’s visual direction could scale seamlessly from intimate, tactile moments to broader marketing applications — bridging experience design with brand communication.
