Project Overview

As the Design Lead, I drive the creative direction for an experiential launch of Chase x IHG’s Premier Pulse offer. The concept centered on a miniature golf course inspired by five iconic U.S. cities—translating the spirit of travel into a playful, physical brand experience.

Pain Point

IHG needed a way to promote a new credit card offer that went beyond traditional marketing—something that could capture attention, communicate the value of travel, and create a meaningful connection with potential cardholders in a crowded landscape.

Process

As Design Lead, I led a team of four designers from concept through execution—collaborating on the core idea, designing five city-inspired mini golf environments, and ensuring a cohesive system across spatial design, brand touch-points, and user flow. The goal was to balance playfulness with brand integrity while coordinating across teams to bring the experience to life within real-world constraints.

Outcome

The experience launched in Madison Square Park, transforming a transactional offer into an engaging, shareable moment—driving awareness, increasing on-site interaction, and reinforcing IHG’s positioning around accessible, experience-driven travel. The event delivered a 40% increase in attendee satisfaction and a 30% boost in engagement metrics.
